#MindshiftMantra: Don’t be afraid of being a beginner | We all have to start somewhere right?

 

Happy holiday Monday peeps! Did you have a great weekend? Try something new? It was scorching hot in the Bay Area but a beautiful weekend nonetheless. I was teaching a yoga class this weekend and had a couple of newbies in class. I could tell they were a little hesitant about being there but also eager to learn. It’s the perfect storm to amplify progress (I think).

The mind is hyper aware and present, the body ready to perform but not entirely confident … yet. Whether you think you can or think you can’t, you’ll never know unless you do.

It’s never easy to be a beginner, it takes courage and curiosity. The beginners mind is where possibility lives.

This week don’t be afraid to be a beginner, even if only in your thoughts, and make shift happen.
